Re: BoD book
Yes; Ishamael may have forgotten to reset the price; but to me, that's very vague. What-with all the reports of server "glitches" lately; despite most of them being shot down. I've had a number of interesting things occur over the last few weeks but reporting them is just wasting time since they all ...

Re: BoD book
Whose to say that the item didn't "glitch" per say? Just yesterday I had several items that didn't register the correct pricing and I know for certain it's not "lag" on my end. Sure; you can criticize Ishamael's error in not "double checking"; but is this going to set the standard to require people ...

Re: BoD book
Aye; that's what I was suggesting as well. To have staff play the part of a "median" so that no one's name is brought into the fray.
Sorry; but if I paid 999gp for something, and was offered 800k as a reward for returning it; I would have returned it within the first hour.

I don't think anyone questions your resolve, friend.
Honest mistakes happen; but it's nice to have honest people who can point them out if necessary. I cannot count the number of times I've mistakenly priced something much cheaper than it was meant to be; or the times I've over-priced ...

Re: BoD book
Awfully close; the issue isn't the length of time. The issue is that someone purchased that BOD book instead of PMing Ishamael and informing him of his error in pricing.
However, that could just be the fact that I have morals; and that I would never put that sort of time into BODs without knowing ...

Re: BoD book
Aye, the item could be considered "for sale"; but would you really be saying that if you had invested that kind of time and effort into that book? Doubtful.
Regardless of how you feel about it; or what "rules" may apply here; the person who purchased that book did so under the pretense of greed ...

Very true Undertaker!
Sadly, it's a strong possibility that they do not. The only other thing that could be done is to have staff investigate the matter. However, in this case, I'm almost positive that Ishamael would be charged for the service, which would cost him roughly 110 EDs, and ...

Re: Pet follow speed
Well now, with that being said above; I see no reason why this couldn't be implemented.
One thing Colibri should do; is gather a few testers who are willing to test new scripts for him after they are added to a separate server of course.
He could do that with just his home PC with rather sub-par ...

Lol
I hope that was sarcasm!
But in all honesty; down times are the worst really. Basic recon, humping it out in the bush, even the occasional firefight was much better than sitting around in the CHUs or the DFAC.
Making youtube videos might be crude and questionable, but its just one ...

I'll agree to that... Especially since I'm old fashioned and still like using packies. =)
Trying to move large quantities of items between two places with 4-5 packies is excruciatingly slow.
So, I vote "aye" for this!

OT: 5 Creepy Ways Video Games Are Trying to Get You Addicted
I came across an interesting article a few days ago; that was written several weeks back by a reporter blogging for a site I often frequent.
Now, I do not take credit for this; this blurb does not belong to me. However, I've taken the liberty to "clean" it up a bit, to make it more appropriate to ...

Yep, organics are one quick way to make money. Bushido Dojo as well as Fan Dancer's, are two great places to make some quick cash.
To be honest, I do think it has some potential; but unless you're able to fund everything yourself, you'll need to find someone to help foot some of the bill. :nod ...
