Re: Joining your shard
If you're looking for a guild that is geared towards helping new players, I'm sure the Excelsior Training Academy (ETA) would be willing to host you for your first three months. Send a PM to Ernie ([pm Ernie) ingame and he'll get you all set up with spellbooks, regs, some basic armor, and a place to...

Re: Open a barrel because of suxxor.
While I fully agree OP's outburst was completely out of line, especially the sexist remarks, I would like to point out a few inconsistencies that make OP's basic situation understandably upsetting. The second post under "Help & Player Guides" is titled Voting Tricks. It's stickied to m...

Re: Help with spewy's runebook mining script
I've had trouble with UOSteam clicking on floor tiles and have had to resort to using EasyUO or using a clickscreen command instead of target.

Re: Help with Chat Portal
Mystic, I'd suggest you put in a General Help request using the in-game menu. That's probably the fastest way for +C to see you need help. Barring that, an email to the address provided above should also get his attention. Not that I blame him (probably VERY busy), but I doubt he browses the forum o...

Re: Help with Chat Portal
I see that as an option for the Forum but not for the chat Portal... If necessary, I can post screenshots of what I'm dealing with but I'm seriously on the verge of just giving up on the Portal. I mean, being able to look at past PM's isn't that important, right? After digging on the Forum, I also f...

Help with Chat Portal
First off, I can log into the game just fine. No issue with account name or password there. I can log into the portal just fine. The portal tells me chat is disabled until I select my primary character in the settings. When I select my character's name and click Save Settings, the portal logs me out...

Re: I'm back!
No, no public shame! I completely understand your initial suspicion. A 6 year old forum account suddenly comes back to life: suspicious. Said accounts's first post in 5 years reads like a commercial: really? I've been working in retail too long, my default setting is customer service. Anyways...

Re: I'm back!
Heh, I'm sure that does sound a bit hokey. I figure it's an easy way for people to remember who I am by identifying me with an idea. "That's that guy that talks about herb pills" kinda thing. Long story short, I used to play here years ago and eventually moved on to other games. I recently...

I'm back!
Started playing again about 5 days ago and I even managed to recover my old forum account! :woot: Anyways, I'm Cruel Kindness ingame. So far I've been extending my knowledge of herbal supplements and vitamins to anyone who wants to ask about an ailment or just general advice. I'm not a doctor, but I...

Re: Mathematics to reconsider
It seems like everyone so far has failed to notice the elipses that follow the 0.99999, which means the number +Coli is trying to relate to us is a repeating decimal. So, is 0.999999999999999999999999(you get the idea) equal to the whole number 1? No. Simply because the number continues on with a st...

Re: Proper Client
When it has finished installed the patch to get 5.0.6 (it think)and starts installing the next one. Click Cancel a few times so it stops. I was under the impression that OSI made the Cancel button non-functional while patching. If that is the case, simply Ctl+Alt+Del and close the patcher that way ...
