does anyone know why all of a sudden when i try to connect to excelsior i get this error....
THERE IS SOME PROBLEM COMMUNICATING WITH ORIGIN. PLEASE RESTART ULTIMA ONLINE AND TRY AGAIN.
i have deleted and completely reinstalled but still same error, please help.

I only get that message when shard is down.

I get this message when my firewall is block communications. Check to make sure any security programs you have running are not block the communications to the shard; your firewall blocking port 60 for instance.

This message usually comes up when there is already an account associated with the IP you are trying to connect with. When you connect with a username that doesn't yet exist, the server tries to create it, but only if there aren't any accounts on your IP.
Please send an email to the address listed on the frontpage. In it, type your IP address (go to http://www.ip-adress.com/ to get it) and the username you would like to have.
