umm just for my own information. whats the timezoone of server base? i am in sweden witch is GMT+1. alltho i play alott during nights here. just wondering when we might expect dear +colibri to notise

ok is it me or just my net i have been trying to get on for the last half hour and nothing. TS is down as well so did i just miss an update or not and the server is down??

Yea when i came back I was dead when i was just froze up before the restart. Why was there no restart from a previous save point I woke up dead same spot i was in when everything locked up and the shard went down.

This downtime was due to ISP maintenance, in the log I see they were doing network optimization which was supposed to take up to 10 minutes, it seems like something went wrong. The downtime was about 2 hours and 30 minute.

Since it was a downtime, not a crash, there was no restart. Sometimes I restart after a disconnect but it depends on how long the disconnect was, and how long after it comes back I see it. I was asleep at the time, considering it's now 6 hours later I've decided not to do a revert.

I would like to remind you all about insurance/blessing and pet bonding. The tubes on the internet are unpredictable, connection can go down (on your end or on the server's) at any time, and you don't know when it's going to be back up.

wel cal for those of us who die too often ...to be able to pay insurance ... is there anything that ill help us ....( i am going back to leaving it all in castle ) if i get it back ...

Sell castle. Buy small house. Use money left over for insurance.

Something did go wrong which is what cypher9899 is trying to say. The server didn't crash, ok understood not everyone lost something. Only some people lost their stuff, I was with cypher9899 when the "ISP" went under "maintenance". He died trying to get into a hole in Sanctuary, when I came back to rez him all the creatures were targeting me. In my attempt to cast restoration that's when everything froze up. cypher9899 was still dead.
I attempted to relog in for about an hour, but i had to go to bed.
So the shard was up and running on that side but all the dead people or people that we're getting attacked stayed connected over there without being in control of movement or healing from our side. Takes what like 20 minutes or less for your body to disappear and the stuff on it goes with it. It was only supposed to take up to 10 minutes then we could have recovered his stuff and I would have known that I had died while I was froze up.
Server didn't crash, the System crashed, which made the amount of time allowed to recover items from a corpse not allowed anymore. The only way for us to get our stuff back is to ask for it.
May we please have our stuff back?

I lost sleep can i get that back too???
