Re: Veteran Reward Titles
How about something similar to our dungeon system
3- Executioner of Despise
5- Destroyer of Shame
8-Destructor of Covetus
and so on and so fourth as you go up in dungeon monster difficulty you add a title as though you have mastered that dungeon
(on a side note)
it would be AWESOME if in the Fel dungeons there were a banker - Or some item dealer - and you can access that NPC only if you have that title so it would at least a little extra beneficial to farm in fel dungeons that you have a title
3- Executioner of Despise
5- Destroyer of Shame
8-Destructor of Covetus

This would be good for the Achievements system but I think for the Vet Reward titles that This would not fit as not everyone hunts or goes to the Dungeons.
Re: Veteran Reward Titles
I like the easy ones mentioned in the very beginning.
1 year veteran
3 year veteran
etc
They are simple, easy to understand and get the point across. Word descriptions are fancier, but not as accurate for everyone involved. Everyone will be able to choose a veteran title just by being here a certain amount of time, and whatever words are chosen may or may not represent them/their character accurately (especially with alts). I personally vote to keep these simple, and use the more creative ones for more specific events/achievements/opportunities.

Re: Veteran Reward Titles
[quote="Versales"]I think some cool titles would be
Year 3 - Veteran
Year 5 - Grizzled Veteran
Year 8 - Honored Veteran
Year 10 - Elder Veteran
Year 12 - Legendary Veteran
Year 15 - The Everlasting Veteran
I like these, except for the Grizzled moniker. If I grew a beard it would be grizzled, and if I was called a grizzled vet it would be accurate, but it still doesn't sound worthy of a title. More like term of endearment. Perhaps replace it with 'True' or 'Esteemed' or even 'Senior.'

What, you don't think of yourself as Grizzly Cygnus after all these years?Cygnus wrote:I like these, except for the Grizzled moniker. Well, I do; but I don't want these newbies of 3 years or less to think they can call me that.+Nyx wrote:What, you don't think of yourself as Grizzly Cygnus after all these years?

Re: Veteran Reward Titles
We should have a veteran system based on who can call Cygnus Grizzly and who can'tAnnachie wrote:Quickly checks character ageCygnus wrote:Well, I do; but I don't want these newbies of 3 years or less to think they can call me that.+Nyx wrote:What, you don't think of yourself as Grizzly Cygnus after all these years?
