Have the bees changed in the last year? I redid mine just before 5PM, and at 5PM they were ready for potions, as expected. But the next day at 2PM I noticed that they were ready for more potions.
Is this a glitch? Or did things change while I was gone for a few months?

they change refresh time whenever the shard crashes. or restarts
