Re: Excelsior Hunting Event - January 2015
I certainly see what you mean, +Nyx and understand why you'all would want to wait to see what happens. There are so many items/issues to consider...and this is not the usual hunting event, I know.
Knowing that you cats are keeping the aspects in mind, I will simply play it out as is fit for my play time and hope for the best.
Thanks to you and +V for staying on top of this...and so much more.

To all the whiners and doubters, verily I say:
Re: Excelsior Hunting Event - January 2015
I'm probably the one who dropped 14mil on a trinsic raffle and still didn't win; I take comfort knowing I am helping the economy or something.
My feather is submitted, I look forward to the outcome of the Hunting event and the next Destash raffle.

I don't know how coding on UO works, but for the people that tie would it be possible to have a second round? Such as they have like a 20 minute time limit before they get booted from the hunting area? And you have around a 48 hour window to do your 20 minutes? At that point best feather wins?
If that were possible the mincing, whining, and complaining should be minimal, if atleast unfounded since it would be fair

I'm sure that a lot of work and thought goes into these events and they take the necessary steps to make sure they are fair. If people are not happy with the events and don't think they are fair then perhaps they need to make the decision to not take part in the events. Otherwise do your best and accept the fact that someone did better.

Ah to the earlier replies, it was just a suggestion in reply to one of the earlier posts from +Nyx
In no way am I complaining, its an awesome event, and this is why I have stuck around for as long as I have and will continue to do. This shard is awesome, the people who run this actually care, and show it.
