Taming bods are bods you can fill by taming the animal they ask for...you then turn them in for a reward

Ok, im starting to get used to the game a bit more, and its getting much more enjoyable.

a few more questions tho,

1) i recently bought the cheapest house on offer, and im wondering if, when you secure and lock down an item (eg bag), can others see in it and can they take the stuff from it? Also, where can chests be purchased from?

2) Since im still a young player, how does this work in the game, i hear i get 21 days to be 'young' or is that skill points? after that, will i be allowed to go back to the newbie dungeon? Im asking as i see a lot of skilled players, with amazing gear but no 'young' tag?

Thanks again for all the info/help!

1) In houses, use "I wish to secure this" to secure all items, this works as a lockdown for regular items and a secure for containers. say "I wish to release this" to release it. Others can see the container, (if your house is set to public for them to walk inside) but cannot see inside or access the container unless you set the security that way.

2) a player looses young status when either total skills - 1000, total stats = 300 OR when account age reaches more than 2 weeks (i think) this aside, a player under 21 days old can access the newbie dungeon and newbie champ.

And yes, he's back with more questions! :D

1) With being in the Newbie Dungeon so often, im starting to get more and more strength. I know there is a 300 cap for stats, so what does everyone suggest i do? Do i reach 100 and switch it off, or what? (I dont know my future for the character, so i guess im aiming for middle of the road type of char).
With this in mind, can you raise your stats any more than a 100?

2) A similar question, but i think this one will be important for me later: With certain skills, like say, blacksmithing, how do older players that create awesome gear do it? Are their stats beyond 120, or is that a cap? Also, what takes your skills beyond the 100 cap?

Thanks again, i must be the most anoying poster by now! :dance

1) Think most people would advise 125 str 125 dex and 50 int

2) +crafting gear comes in mining, lumberjacking, tailoring, blacksmithing, fletching and carpentry, 6 items of each raising the skill above the cap by either 1, 3 or +5 skill per item
equipment with magic properties are crafted with runic tools.

A few more questions:

1) How many organics would people on here consider to be enough (or should a newbie get) before leaving the dungeons? I heard someone say 10k is the minimum? (if i guess in the future you want to use them)?

2) Is there supposed to be any courtesy for the rat quest? Ive been doing it a few times and some people just come out of the blue and start taking down the rats in front of me? Are there any rules to this (i thought first in first served, and a room per person basically, unless you are with a friend)? Cheers, its just im getting near the end of my 21 days and im trying to collect organics for the future in case i need to sell them (still learning a lot about the game... ).

Thanks again for the help!

1) Get as many as you can get, you can do the quest every 30 minutes i believe, you can either save them or sell them on EXEX to earn LOTS of gold really fast..To do this go to either Delucia, Trinsic or Brit and look for a blue box by the bank...drop the organics into the box and type [exex to access it and sell them.

2) As far as the courtesy thing, not all of the people on this shard play by fair play from my experance here...most do but there are a few that think they own someplace where they are.

Now that Im getting older....

1) Well, my 21days is almost up: Im really curious, where is the safest way to start out killing things/trying to get money/items etc? Where to go? Any suggestions?

2) How does one acquire powerscrolls (i cant afford 250k per item yet, hehe), and where are runic tools to be found/made?

Thanks again for any/all help!

1) do bees and only your bees. you can make around 4-5 mil a month doing bees, easy dungeons despise top level. kill mongbats they drop special gems which you can sell on the exex. with the new power scroll bag they'll go for a good chunk of money. then try deceit, and wrong.

2) powerscrolls are a champ reward. mind you that if there are more than 6 people at a champ and you do little to no damage you'll proly not get one. champ spawns only give out 6 power scrolls at a time. good luck. :)

What are nobles, where/how do I get them?

Slowly im GM my crafting skills, like mining, lumberjacking, taming and getting there with carpentry and blacksmithing... So, is there anyway to profiteer from these things (I can only reach a 100 since I dont have enough money to buy or fight for the powerscrolls yet)...

What is the easiest way to get a PS in terms of fighting for them, and what stats, people should i have with me... in that respect, where how do i get mules and why are they so special?

Thanks again!

see post above how to get ps.

debate about mules vs nobles.

advantage of mules found by killing the master of the arts champ: immune to poison, has a pack. has greater str than a noble.

advantage of nobles found from it spawning randomly in tram dungeons 1 x a day: runs faster, hits faster, has pack instinct (damage increase's by how many nobles you have or same pack type).

disadvantage of mules vs nobles: slower, no pack instinct, can not keep up with you running.

disadvantage of nobles vs mules: no immune to poison, no backpack.

best to run with 4 nobles and 1 mule.

but i say: it depends on what your trying to do. balron run i would chose nobles, doom gauntlet i would chose 4 nobles and 1 mule, champ spawns i would chose mules. peerless i would use imprisoned (RAWR threw a new one in there, imprisons do not lose stats like normal pets upon death. imprisoned are the best pets on the shard.) nectir/grizzle people would use bio's (due to their area life damage/area life leech spells).

good luck.

if your taming is caped at 100 for now mules would be your pet of choice.
a tip for you in dealing with your pets, get a med suit as close to 100% lrc as possible while having atleast 3fast cast/recovery.

a med suit is your armor that is either leather or has mage armor on it.
100% lrc to keep cost of tithe down, if you do not know this yet "i pray to the gods" will open cleric spells, touch of life is the most powerful heal you can use on a pet. (tithe is gained by sacrificing gold at a ankh[single click|tithe gold])
the fast cast/recovery is a must so you can efficiently heal your pets through some massive damage
with enough mana regen you can cast touch of life without losing mana. in a med suit this just cuts the amount of regen you'll need.

i know this isnt easy for a new comer to get, but you'll probably have the armor before the pets, unless a friendly player chooses to give to you.

...and he;s back with more questions:

1) With Powerscrolls, can you just buy a 120 PS and work from GM to 120 or do you need to go with steps, so, buy a 105, then 110, 115 and finally a 120?

2) What are some useful hints to take on when going dungeon crawling. Ive gone to the end of despise and the rewards arent that great. killing dragons in destard is fun, but again the rewards arent that amazing. Essentially, i have very mediocre gear but i need to make money and would like to find SOME cool items... any advice (my taming is pathetic so getting mules and nobles is not in my agenda atm).

Any help, as always, is welcome, cheers folks!
