UOSteam Error

Post by TeslaElectra »

"Cant find the name of Intel ICD OpenGL driver"

Hey guys. My client crashed randomly today. When I went to log back in, UOSteam would not let me get past the start button and gave me this error. Noor and I played with all kinds of things to try to fix it via Teamviewer and almost gave up. We tried updating Windows, updating Dell, uninstalling UOAM (which I had just installed today), reinstalling UOSteam and many others things. I hope that no one else has this problem but if you do..

This is what we did to fix it:
1. Start
2. Control Panel
3. Device Manager
4. Display Adaptors
5. I have Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 so I right clicked that one.
6. Properties
7. Driver
8. Rollback Driver

Hope this helps somebody!

It's a driver issue. I'm having the same issue and I found this on the Intel forum:

https://communities.intel.com/thread/11 ... 5&tstart=0

It should be repaired with the next update.

Thanks for sharing! I sure hope so. Its driving me insane. I thought it was why Steam was crashing so much but it happens on the Excel client as well. I don't know if having the computer updated but the graphics driver not could cause that.

Looks like the latest posting on that forum says the new driver may be out at the end of July. I sure hope so.

Were you the one posting on the Intel forums? I'm wondering if Ronald will let us know when it has been released. I have my graphics driver on the previous update before the bad one and put it on a setting so it will only upgrade if I manually do it so I don't think I will get a notification of an upgrade.

To anyone who has had this issue - the update was posted on the forums and is hopefully working. I have not installed it yet but plan to soon.

same error, same integrated video card, freshly bought laptop... console shows last updates, but cant say for sure its their cause, its a new laptop..!

forums around give a nice solutions, but they dont work for me. tried rollback driver, upon restart 'great' windows 10 is putting it back...
