There is a special place in my heart for the company. I'm also pretty sure i lost sleep playing their theme park, which you posted above. Thank you for sharing and taking the time to post pictures!
I'm sure everyone has played this before. If anyone has not, it's pretty much available on every console, smartphone, PC cloud based store, etc.

This better be on my smartphone soon. I still have the floppy's.

I remember theme park! If you let it get too dirty the Hells Angels would show up and beat up your mascots. If I remember correctly. Loved that game

Oh Wow!! I played a ton of Outpost! haven't thought of it in years! Also played the King's quest series.
Re: RIP: Sir-Tech, Interplay, MicroProse, Sierra
Yeah so they aren't PC games, but i loved them just as much growing up. I'm sure many of you did too!
***ALSO*** Please no response about this one is better than that one please. I'd like to keep things more visual.

After days of fighting, dying, reading that message, load game, dying, reading that message, you defeat Akuma. You rush past him to the next room, where the lovely princess bride awaits!
Whyyyyyyy would you think to sAvE yOuR gAmE? You run straight up to trigger the...
WHAM!
She kicks you in the pants!
You fall to the floor and DIE! GAME OVER! WHAT?!?!
30 second clip of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vo1PYkKU6ck
Your desk wonders what it ever did to you as you storm off angrily. How dare she! Why would she do that?! Does she think I'm one of the bad guys? Why would she think that?!
Later that night, you sneak back in for another half hour of shift-shift-spacebar with Akuma and THIS time...
...you bow.
!!! She hugs you. Ahh, game over, the happy music way.
The difference between the bad guys and the good guys isn't who is the most powerful - it's who uses that power for good. Evil sees others as inferiors: tools to be dominated, manipulated and subjugated. Good sees others as equals: souls to be liberated, enlightened and encouraged. When I rush up on the princess as if I have the right to, I may as well have been a bad guy.
The final boss isn't Akuma, it's myself. My ego in its glory hour. It's the moment I have accomplished supreme power. The moment I am undeniably strongest facing the undeniably weakest. A humility checkpoint with god in disguise: At my fullest height, my entitled reward, my crown victory - will I now be the next to lord myself over the meek, subordinate the will of others beneath me? Will I forget she's a princess and reach for a prize?
Or will I also defeat myself, bring myself to a kneel, and use that power to elevate those who were low, high?
This game has been remade but you'd have to be a kid in the 80s to get the full kick in the pants. RIP.

Our nostalgia can't repel a thread of this magnitude!

I defy you to find a harder game than R.O.B.B. for the C64. Seriously. It still haunts me.
Another visitor! Stay awhile ... Stay forever!
