Winter Event problems - Expatch 12

I get a message that says I need expatch v12 to enter the Moonglow portal for the winter event, but I have expatch 12 already.

And all of the hyperlinks on the website to patch or download files are BROKEN. Wtf...
So, what can I do here?

I managed to get the patch download to work, and like I said, my files are already patched (but I wanted to make sure), so I have no clue what the issue is.

this seems to be working fine, maybe delete broken one and retry installing.
Or, if you have more than one uo directory, check are you using correct one.

This also does not work...links broken. Is the server just dead?? Why isnt any of this stuff maintained?
The torrent and the .rar both in that thread do not work

okay, i think, there something is going wrong, or we need Interference of higher powers. If the server was dead, than i wouldn't be there to talk.
anyway when i tried that link, download was happening, interrupted cause have no need for additional copy.
First you can do, you can go in to patch test room, which gate is in east part of tc,and check is your patch really working. second you can launch just plain client to check, isn't your assistant or mods somehow interfering, third, actually it needed to be first but ok, does your client version is 5.0.9.1
if problem cannot be found,or if client version is inappropriate than you can also try to ask some friend to send you he's working copy. Fourth, could it be that you were banned from winter event some time ago and forget about it? Anyway i think such message couldn't be proper answer on fact that you cannot enter. Nothing else comes in mind right now.

No you didn't. The instructions above were to download the prepatched client. You tried to download and run expatcher. There are too many circumstances in which expatcher doesn't work right to bother diagnosing yours. Download the prepatched client.

After you download and run the prepatched client you can type "[account" after you log in. Under "connection and server information" you'll see a line that says, "Client version: 5.0.9.12 [Expatch 12]"

If you see anything else there, you are not running the prepatched client downloaded from https://portal.uoex.net/downloads/uoml_ ... atch12.exe . You're running something else and/or using data files from a different UO install.
