Did you know?

Post by +Colibri »

This topic will be a series of hints about functionality on our shard. Until we get that guides section :)

DID YOU KNOW

- That anyone can cast cleric spells - just say "i pray to the gods" and the gump will open.

- That our felucca is under trammel rules - which means you cannot PK or get PK'd in there. It's also mark-recall-gate disabled, meaning that you need to walk in there. But it's where the good things are.

- That there exists a good quest for newbies to pick up gold. All you need is the ability to kill an earth elemental, a boat, and preferrably a pack-ridable animal. More details of this quest are in the announcement forum.

- That our champ monsters give less tokens? This way we balanced token income from champ spawn, bod rewards and dungeon crawling.

- That you can simply use CTRL+SHIFT to view all items on your screen. Or, if you dont see your pet in the heat of the battle - just drag out it's healthbar and target that when healing.

- That we have rentable appartments (town houses). If you dont have money to build a house, and too little space in the bank, you can simply rent a small place for very little gold.

- About the mail system? With an addressbook, you dont need to see people online at the same time to give them items - just mail the items to them.

- About the big-size chess board? It's located in Excelsior Halls.

- That if you don't have the ability to donate, you can still get the donation rewards? By collecting excelsior dollars, which are given out at events and as reward for things you do for the shard.

- That you can chop down some carpentry and fletcher items? Just like you would re-smelt smithy items when training up, you can also chop down carpentry and fletcher items.

- Our gold weighs a quarter of the regular weight?
