It aint lag, else oldman would have had the same problem when we both play at his place. Also, it doesn't happen occasionaly, it is consistent.
After months of my demise i logged in this week and still had the same.

We both are on high speed cable as well, hardly ever lag on the shard. :D

It is possible. On my home system it works fine with vista, but on my laptop i have the same problem. I have been able to track it down to the login sequence. After the sync request the server doesn't send an ack back. As far as i remember about old uo protocol/connection stuff, this could happen ...
